5 x healthy chips

When you are at a party or just at home, there are always snacks. The problem is when I eat some chips, I immediately want the whole bowl of chips. I can’t control myself. (Who does?!) Fortunately there are healthy chips and you can make it. With those healthy recipes, we can eat the whole bowl without feeling guilty!

Salt and vinegar zucchini chips

Ingredients

  • 4 cups thinly sliced zucchini about 2-3 medium
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil avocado oil or sunflower oil
  • 2 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons coarse sea salt

Spicy bake sweet potato chips

Ingredients

  • 1 large sweet potato or yam, washed/scrubbed (NOT peeled)
  • Olive oil (spray)
  • chipotle powder

Homemade Doritos style chips

Ingredients

  • 1 package of 6” corn tortillas, any brand
  • 2 tbs of olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 3 tbs. parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Chili lime baked potato chips

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds russet potatoes (about 5 or 6), washed, scrubbed, and cut into 1/4-inch slices (use a mandoline slicer, if possible)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin or to taste
  • 2 teaspoons corn starch
  • lite salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Homemade cheese & herb pita chips

Ingredients

  • 4 whole wheat (white is fine) pitas, each cut into 8 wedges*
  • 4 Tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ Tablespoon finely chopped chives
  • 4 parsley leaves, finely chopped
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • sea salt or other flaky salt
  • 3 and ½ ounces Sincerely, Brigitte™Parsley Chives Cheese, shredded
