4 Ways to prepare yourself for Rock & Run

Only two more weeks and then we will be joining the Rock & Run in Amsterdam. We are really excited about this event and are really looking forward to it! But what do we do to prepare ourselves for this upcoming run?

1. Listen to music. What I like to do is listen to the music of the artists that are going to perform on this event. I will learn some of the lyrics so that when it is time to party I can sing my lungs out and impress everyone with my knowledge about all those different and upcoming bands (ahem ;) ). 2. Run. Well, you can’t just run 6 kilometers all by yourself, can’t you? So that’s why I need to practice and practice until I can. I actually don’t really care how fast I’m going as long as I’ll make it and I’ve always been a really slow runner by nature. By the way, what I like even more about this run is that there are bands playing while you are running so you can slow down for a while to listen to some music.

3. Make yourself rock-proof. Since I won’t be partying in my running clothes, I’ve written an article on how to dress like a true rocker girl with your running gear still on. So girls, show your inner rock chick (and who knows, you can always backcomb your hair!)

4. Convince your friends to run with you. You've probably done this already, but in case some of them were still doubting, try to convince them by saying that a part of the ticket sale is going to a good cause, namely for water and better hygience circumstances for people that are in need of clean water. Plus, running with your friends makes it a lot more fun.
