Fit Girls keep on track and look back!

Fit & Training door thijs

We Fit Girls have #GOALS, make #PLANS, #EXECUTE and #EVALUATE them……don’t we all? This should be enough to keep us going. On the other hand, we all have busy schedules, need "me"-time and might lose track of what we want to #ACHIEVE. Let me share with you three tips and tricks that may help you to keep in sight where you’ve been and where you are going. Lets go and #VALUE what we rock.

Keep a log

A year and a half ago, I decided that I wanted to become the strongest version of myself. I started with personal training. In that period I tried to log my progress by making before and after pictures every once in a while. During this process I also needed a new wardrobe because I was getting leaner and slimmer. Right now, I’m on my second new wardrobe, because my body is still changing from all the working out.

TIP: Take the time to look back at where you were physical, mentally (happy or unhappy wise) a year ago and where you want to be in the near future.

TRICK: Plan a onesie date with yourself or friends and have a nice get together. Ask that person to bring their photos too. So you can share memories :-)

Re-hydrate yourself and be consistent

Do you remember my article where I shared with you that I wanted to make drinking 2 liters a day of water a habit? It has become a part of my lifestyle instead of a challenge or short term goal!! Yay. I’m still on that path and carry my water bottles everywhere I GO and my sugar intake has lowered a lot.

TIP: It’s never to late to pick up on your goals where you’ve left them. Every day you can learn something new.

TRICK: I’d say bottoms up bottoms up!

LIFESTYLE
DID you start this year off by promising yourself to go to the gym at least 3 times a week, but ended up not going at all? Or once a month? Ask yourself if it’s worth it to keep #DONATING your money to an organisation that’s getting rich by doing nothing or #INVESTING your dollar dollar bills y'all in yourself; by being the fittest and most healthy bankaccount that you can be. It's up to you to pick the one that will make you feel better in the long run.

TIP: Ask your gym to hand you a list containing the data of your visits.

TRICK: Plan your workouts ahead and attach the list from the gym on your wall, calender or fridge. A place where you can see it every day. To not lose track of your goals and look back.

Hopefully these pointers will keep you sharp at being that #GOALGETTER that you are and maintain to be that Fit Girl you want to be. If you want to share  your thoughts about keeping on track at your fit journey, hit me up @iris_fitgirl or send me an e-mail irisfitgirl@gmail.com.
