COLLOSEUM, FORMA ROMA AND PASTA ALLA CARBONARA

After the run we walked through Rome to visit the Pantheon, Roman Forum, the Colosseum ….. So much beauty! Around the Coloseum, you have so many romantic hidden places where you can sit down and chill for a bit. And of course eat some Italian gelati!! OMG… It was sooo good! I had a mix of forestfruit and pistache icecream. It was almost bigger than my head! You can find gelati on almost every corner of the street. We also took a pistache cookie ( no limiting in sweets here!!). It was a ball of cookie covered with grilled pistache nuts. So hood! For dinner we wanted to try the best pizza and pasta (Pasta alla Carbonara) in Rome. As a kid I always made pasta alla Carbonara, because it’s really easy to make (pasta with eggyolk and fried bacon cubes. Really creamy). The best thing in Italy is that you have a lot of different shapes and kinds of pasta. My favorite one is “Fusilli”. You’ll be amazed by all the different shapes and sizes

VEGGIE ROMA PARADISE

The gelati, pastas and pizzas made me crave for some thing healthy and veggies. The best thing about the Italian cuisine is that they always have fantastic vegetable dishes. And you can alway order grilled veggies as a side dish “Verdura Grigliate”…Bellissima !!

To make a long story short. Go to ROME! The city is amazing with all the beautiful historical sights and the amazing foods. A must-see is the Colosseum and a must-eat are the ice creams, Fiori di zucca and the “pasta alla carbonara”.
