Hello! Marloes here. Fit Girl & Fit Mom and living as healthy as I can be (damn those chocolate bars, muffins and brownies). Just like you I have a big crush on being active in many ways. I started my own Bootcamp company SportHeroes, I’m a group fitness instructor and I love to work my ass off during a run or other high impact workout.
Thanks for the Energy
When I workout I feel like a superhero. Everyone should feel like a superhero during their workout (or in life) so that’s my goal while teaching Bootcamp or group fitness. I noticed that my positive energy is getting other girls moving so that gives me extra energy. That’s why I started my blog “Thanks for the Energy”. Most of the stuff on my blog is about motivation, personal experiences and fun stories about what’s going on in a Fit Girl’s mind.
The eating part is the hardest part in my Fit Girl life. I am not a clean eater like most of the Fit Girls but I hope I can inspire others that you can be a very healthy happy person even without a clean eating plan like me. I believe in a healthy life; Do your workouts, eat ‘normal’, drink lots of water and smile big time 🙂
With a little mini-me around, my job and being an instructor it is a challenge sometimes to achieve my own personal goals too. So far I’ll manage with my home equipment like the kettle bell and my favorite NTC App or a GRIT Strength training in the gym. Besides that I love running, so every year I join some nice 16K and 21K races that keeps me going. And oh, the NY Marathon is on top of my wish list.
